In Response To: Gender in Halo 2 (response to DanteThePoet) LONG (Cody Miller) I honestly want to laugh at you all right now... But I would first like to take a shot at Jilly... I am not Feminine at ALL. Those female marines? They are me. I don't talk about makeup, I do not wear heals, and I surely don't parade my femininity around on a stick. I am myself, I am genuine, and I surly don't need to see "Reference" to femininity to make myself feel welcome in the Halo universe. Arguing that the female marines need to be more "Female" is saying "Oh I enjoy being the stereotype and being stereotyped". So please, before you pick up the banner for the various women that toddle around this forum (All 5 of us), please think that not all of us are the "Makeup drenched, boy chasing, skirt wearing" girls that you want represented. As for the people Arguing that Bungie "Wouldn't put those kind of references in Halo" You guys are Sorely mistaken. How many of you have spoken to just more then KP, Shishka, or Frankie about the subject? (Actually Frankie would be a good guy to talk about it, but he is ususaly running amok being a goofball) I would say that none of you have actually talked to a good majority of the meat at Bungie. If you had, you would KNOW that they are ALL about the Random symbolism. Do not say "Oh they wouldn't do that" when they sure as hell will :D Anyhow, I hate it when people start bitching about gender lines. so I'll go away before I really start ranting
