I particularly like your emphasis on the fact that : the game is STRUCTURALLY set up on gender lines, emphasizing the male : gaze. I normally scrutinize my allies at point blank range with the sniper rifle. Well you can see things better that way. I was examining a marines face in the fish elevator and he said, 'Chief, you're creeping me out here'. I must admit, I did feel a bit embarassed. :-)
