Yes I agree that physically speaking, a feminine form is not desireable in a fight. I don't think casting them in a masculine form is going to overcome that because it's a physical limitation, and you can't fight that. I will never get into the army no matter how much I wanted to because I'm short - all the gender issues in the world won't change that :)
