Personally, I'd be quite happy to have the help of some acrobatic stealth recon teams dominated by female members. They might be able to covertly tag cloaked enemies with beacons, or pull off some equally helpful feat. That way they could express femininity in a practical way that helps you win battles. Visually, it would be quite reasonable to give them form fitting clothing, or a complimentary rendition of SPI armor. It's not exactly the moment to be making suggestions for Halo 3, but would something like that fit the bill?
