In Response To: Gender in Halo 2 (response to DanteThePoet) LONG (Cody Miller) What I can disern from your writings you want the female features to be emphasised without making it sexual in nature. How are you going to do this give them large breasts, form fitting armour or any other feature of games that appeal to the base sexual instincts of the male half of the species. As I believe is described in the halo art book the designers were going for a practical and more like real life military look. If you look at todays military attire it is usuall loose flexable clothing issued to both sexes. It is practical, easy to wear, easy to fit and put s both of the sexes on an equal footing (I'm led to believe sexual equality has something to do with that). And Miranda acting as damsel in distress along from the examples provided previously the John is constantly saving male marines from various fates heck the second mission of the first halo was based on saving groups of male marines.
