It was "fake" as in not a real addition by Bungie to the Halo story line. It would be the same as me photoshoping a new weapon into a Halo 2 image. Some people might thing it was really a new weapon.

Look at how many people believed that you could get three weapons if you beat the game on Legendary in under 3 hours? If you don't think people are easily fooled your wrong.

Yes it would effect my view of it's worth. However I am not talking about it's worth. I am talking about the way it was presented. And yes Louis can say what he will but that doesn't detract from the fact that he knew because of it's plausible nature people would be fooled. All he had to do was state that it was fan fiction from the get go or clear it up when people started to assume it was. Blaming it on the readers is nothing more then a cop out.

I don't feel hurt by the fan fiction itself. I just don't feel it was right for HBO to present this in a plausible manner that this might in fact be from Bungie or that they let this belief last till the very end.

The thread is called "Enkidu flames and kudos HERE, please." So I posted my views on it. Had this just been for people praising him I wouldn't have posted a thing just like I didn't in any other thread here on the subject.
