In Response To: Why I Hate Glasslands (Train Dodger) So for the past year or so I haven't really been "into" Halo, but recently seeing some stuff from H4 I've decided to shake the cobwebs off and get back into the swing of things starting with reading Glasslands. Around the time the book came out last year I read the preview chapter and listened to some of the KT interviews about the book going around and figured I probably wouldn't like it very much (KT really overemphasized her distaste for Halsey). And boy did she not disappoint. Just about every thing I can think of to say has been said in this thread, but I do want to say one thing. You cannot demonize one character for their actions, and then have everybody else involved with them (especially the people who give the orders / sign off on their actions) take the moral high ground. Long story short - Halsey did bad things, but Parangosky was just as bad as her (if not worse because 75 Spartan IIs < 75 S IIs + 1000+ S IIIs).
