I don't know, but : those seem pretty similar to me. : I'm also wondering where all this talk about KT's work being "deep" : or "nuanced" came from - just reiterating your one-sided, narrow : points about a morally gray issue over and over again doesn't make your : work deep. To me, Nylund's work was far more nuanced because at least his : exploration of the moral issues of the Spartan-II program had some : finesse. It was never particularly complicated as far as literature goes, : but neither is Glasslands. Yet some people seem to have this idea of KT's : work being of some higher literary standard than the previous novels. Exactly. Also, there's one thing I forgot to address in all of this; the part where Lucy punches Halsey in the face. I was like... what? S-IIIs in power armor can punch vehicles in half with their bare hands. A unrestrained blow to the head from one is enough to fracture skulls and sever spinal cords.
