In Response To: Re: Oh yeah... (elessar787) : Not necessarily. Psycho makes a good point in that people will always get : mad. But Bungie seems like a rational group of individuals and if they : explain the reasons why feature x was cut, I think it would lessen the : burden. Sort of like, if you're playing and you're like "Man I'd : really like to sprint right around now" but then you'd be like : "Wait I remember why I can't do that". unfortunately, it seems like the reason too commonly "dude we ran out of time". so i'm running along, and i'd really like to be able to do x, but then i remember "oh yeah the dev ran out of time". also, while bungie may be rational, (the vast majority of) people are not. just read youtube comments about anything. or watch political ad campaigns. the people who make those are experts of the human psyche: they don't even try to use facts or reason, it's all about emotion (flashing pictures of newborn babies and pristine scenery). same's true with peoples' reactions. if they find out feature x was cut, they won't think to themselves, "oh man, i guess there's a legitimate reason for that". they'll say, "man i've been screwed by micro$$$oft grrrrrr". i guess you just have more faith in people than i do :)
