Bungie will : get shit for it. A feature that Bungie didn't mention at all and then : wasn't included in the final game? Bungie will get shit for that, too. No : matter what Bungie says or does about their games, someone somewhere will : give them shit about it. : So they should just bite the bullet and keep the community in the loop. They're already more transparent with their community than most other developers out there, not sure there's a problem here. Unless of course you want live updates of every terminal's progress on the studio floor every hour on the hour. Maybe it'd do them well to drop that whole "Everything we say is carefully planned and labored over" air they've developed about them; though I don't think they're entirely at fault for that.
