Not necessarily. Psycho makes a good point in that people will always get mad. But Bungie seems like a rational group of individuals and if they explain the reasons why feature x was cut, I think it would lessen the burden. Sort of like, if you're playing and you're like "Man I'd really like to sprint right around now" but then you'd be like "Wait I remember why I can't do that". Of course, this is all wishful thinking.
