In Response To: Re: Suggestions on a few multiplayer changes for R (The BS Police) : 1. Remove Sword Clash and replace it with what? It works fine the way it is now. If two people sword each other at the same time, you deflect one another. Just like real swords. : 2. Tighten the spread of the BR a bit. I think it is fine the way it is now. It works great at short-medium range, and starts to diminish at longer ranges. It isn't meant to be a long range weapon. : 3. Make Carbine have Sniper like Accuracy like Frankie described it. Same thing as above. It works at short to medium ranges, and accuracy diminishes at longer ranges. : 4. Remove Dual Wielding. Reasoning? It works and it isn't broken in Halo 3. : 5. Increase blast radious with the Rocket Launcher and Missile Pod. Why? The missile pod is meant for vehicles, not personnel. It doesn't need a larger blast radius. Neither does the rocket. It is easy enough to get kills with it. : 6. Make Scorpian Tank more accurate like it's Halo 2 counterpart. I agree with this. If you aren't host, it is nearly impossible to kill someone who is jumping. : 7. Make the Tripmine as powerfull as the Beta Tripmine (minus the magnetism). Perhaps. : Also, Bungie better not elt Forge dictate the spawn system in Halo: Reach,
I'm not sure what you meant here. You can pick spawn locations in forge mode. The game decides where you spawn a person based on a weighted system, where the threat is the lowest. : I also won't except any excuses on how we cannot spawn with Carbines (and
I can see game play issues being the reason here, but it is a custom game, so I agree. : The limitations in Halo 3's custom games and Matchmaking makes no sense. Frame rates. Flame effects take a lot of resources I'm sure, so they limit those in multiplayer. Sure, it works fine with one person, but you have to remember that you can play 4-player split screen on one system, and the game needs to draw those effects for every person.
