In Response To: Re: Suggestions on a few multiplayer changes for R (DarkSky Forever) : Theater Mode Rendering : It would be nice to be able to render videos using our hardware, and transfer : them directly to our PC. This way, people who make Halo videos would not : need a capture card, and it would not require Bungie to have hardware set : aside to render these videos, nor would it require their bandwidth. This is a confusing suggestion. If you have a capture card, you are using your own hardware to render videos. If you use Bungie's new video feature, you are using their hardware to render, and don't need a video capture card. It sounds like what you are suggesting is to use the Halo 3 engine on your own console to render the video, and then somehow send that video signal from your console to Bungie for them to capture (since you don't want to have a capture card.) That's insane. The bandwidth required would be massive, much more than playing the game. It simply would not be feasible.
