The Sword clash just adds nothing to the gameplay other than another random element rather than individual skill. Halo 2 had it best becuase it was just more simplistic. Whoever was in range first and clicked the fire button first always won.

For a game like Swat though where you have to rely on a burst fire weapon that has a random spread it just doesn't work. Burst fire weapons should not have a random spread associated with it. If it does then the bullet magnetism needs to be increased slightly in order for consistent results.

A single shot weapon should not have a random spread associated with it... PERIOD!!!

The samething as Halo 2, it turns those wepaons into half weapons thereby making them useless on there own. Bungie seemed to have finnaly realised that with the Needler in Halo 3 and in ODST aswell. The Halo 1 Pistol, Plasma Pistol and Plasma Rifle are other good examples.

The Laser is not meant for Personnel either but it's got a 2X Scope to be used against them. Also the Halo 3 Rocket Luancher is just too weak compared to it's Halo 2 and Halo 1 counterparts. Nothings more annoying than firing a Rocket direcly bellow someone only to have them get a boosted jump from the blast as they proceed to do an AR Beatdown on ya.

I just feel that the Tripmine is complety useless on every map except for Rats Nest.

Not from what I have seen, in Halo 3 you spawn infront of enemy Rockets and Sniper rounds, you spawn behind enemies, infront of enemies, beside enemies.

Hell, in matchmaking in FFA a game of Team Swords started, as soon as I walked off my Starting spawn another player spawned on the exact same Starting Spawn right after I walked off it.

I've played many custom games with Flame grenades and I didn't see any issues.
