(CaptainTony) : -Please stop changing the models for objects in game, I know that the United : Nations Space Command doesn't change their uniform every few months : between the game timelines. Same goes for vehicles, weapons, etc. Makes sense to me that there would be variance in the UNSC's uniforms, vehicles, and weapons. You've got millions of troops spread out across hundreds of colonies, across lightyears of space AND as well a giant alien race is now killing everyone everywhere - the UNSC wouldn't be worried about making sure every fleet had identical equipment - they'd just be working with everything they can. I think it's kind of cool looking back at the Halo 1 marines and how rusty and basic their gear was, out there in the backwaters of space, as opposed to pulling the best stuff the UNSC's got out on Earth in the final weeks of the war. (and of course in real life you have that whole generation-leaping of graphics enabling the designers the chance to do better stuff.)
