In Response To: Story Shenanigans (Cody Miller) : Regret's premature arival: First of all, why was this "premature"? : Why was it that Truth had to wait before going to Earth? We know from a book or two that the Covenant have constructs but that they're not that smart. Of course, the books (for the most part) aren't canon. So it *could* be a Covie AI or it could've been Gravemind and Cortana just wasn't aware that GM could access the computer system. : Last time you asked me: What am I supposed to make of 343GS's speech on Two
After having finished the fight and read the terminals, I took this to mean that 343 GS had a conversation with a Forerunner about it when they were about to fire the Halos (and I'm assuming Forerunner looked Human). Big assumption on my part, I know. --CT is now 2 cents poorer
