: If memory serves, in the Flood book, the MC found a dead Marine Sergent in : the Library. I believe the Master Chief said something like "you must : have been one tough SOB to have survived this far". Maybe this Marine : asked Spark the question first? When 343 said "Having considerable time to ponder your query, my answer has not changed." I always understood "considerable time" to be since the last activation of the Halos, not a few hours since some another marine was in the Library.
