In Response To: I can no longer like this theory (Jillybean) : As it suddenly gives Cortana very good motive for allowing Gravemind to : return High Charity to the Ark - for if she has been talking to the last : shard of Mendicant Bias, she could have already converted him back to our : side. Jeez. Some things don't change here, do they? :-) In any case, it would make her behaviour that much more explicable. She knew about the presence on High Charity all along, the one that had gone about mumbling "I have walked among men and angels...". Not a bad idea, having a super-AI construct on our side for the price of a little self-sacrifice. You've been a little harsh on the old gal, methinks. ;)
