(Leviathan) : This is what I figured after reading Contact Harvest. : And for Regret's premature departure, I think it was just his impatience, and : this turned out to be quite good for humanity, since if the Covenant had : waited for a bigger fleet, then humanity would have had a far harder time : in Halo 2, and none of the Delta Halo events would have happened. : As for humannity's inhabitance of Earth, and the Covenant not expecting : it...well I doubt they expected every place they went where there was : forerunner technology (like the Ark) there would be humans...since the : forerunner's reach was far more than our's. I will admit that I always thought that Regret wanted to be the one to claim the Ark for himself first, being the oldest of the3 high council prophets, still wanting to prove himself above Truth. And there was a bigger fleet being mobilized, this was at the Unyielding Hydrophant correct?
