No this is no Halloween jape, I do this all the time :) Hold the BR's targeting reticle so that the blue circle is just barely touching or just a few pixels above the Jackals head. I never center the Jackals head inside the BR's targeting circle because the bullets bounce off it's armored head piece. I've never paid much attention to notice if there is any auto-aim with the BR, usually I'm too busy to notice :)
