In Response To: Sierra 117 ruined by snipers (Rockslider) : Sure there are other tactics in that final area of Sierra, but anything : involving jumping straight down into the fray seems ludicrously risky to : me. Still, I'm open to suggestions. Anyone got any particular tactics in : regard to clearing the place of snipers, so you can finally get some : proper open combat going? Shoot the snipers first? That's what I did at that spot and with just about any other spot where snipers were an issue. With the BR you can get a couple of rounds into them at that distance without too much trouble, then it's off to the races. In my opinion, jackal snipers are no longer an experience ruiner like they were in H2. Sure, there are spots where you have to carefully poke your head out and figure out where they are (often ending up dead), but there's nothing like Outskirts where you're facing 7 or 8 at once, tucked all the way across the map in the shadows. As I recall, in that particular spot there are only two or three. Granted, they're on the other side of the map, but you can take them out from the ledge without too much hassle and jump into the mix below.
