In Response To: Sierra 117 ruined by snipers (Rockslider) : Did I really suggest that Sierra 117 was my favourite level? What the heck : was I thinking, complimenting it like that? That level is RUINED by : Jackals with beam rifles (carbines not quite so bad but still annoying), : especially the ones in the very last area. After the cutscene with the : Arbiter, it's like it's case of tentatively edging forward to see if you : can get a glimpse of one of the snipers without feeling any sudden searing : pain; and then after ducking back to safety, sticking your head out again : to try and actually get him before he or any other snipers get YOU. It's : so awkward and this whole rigmarole completely holds up the flow - and : things are potentially all over with one shot of course. I really feel like you sometimes seeming arbitrarily choose what to like and dislike. Were this H1, you would you probably be talking about how tense it is. Tentatively edging forward to try and catch the wily sniper before he catches you.... only to get shot and have to excitedly run back to cover to recharge your shields. I dunno. Also, on heroic, there are not one shot sniper kills. Not trying to be a jerk, you have a lot of good points a lot of the time. I'm just saying, it doesn't make sense to me sometimes, but then again who says anything needs to make sense to me.
