I'd say that's : going to effect a lot of machinimators. does this mean that any series set : in the Halo universe, like Halo: unyeilding, are now illegal? Yeah, that's a tricky question isn't it? The actual text is "You can’t add to the game universe or expand on the story told in the game with “lost chapters” or back story or anything like that." But, it seems unlikely to me that they really would be ruling out pretty much all fan fiction and the like. My guess would be that it means you should stay away from the main characters and the action in the actual games. So, you know, hands off of MC, but lost spartan group Omega or whatever is probably okay.
