That is exactly what I most hate about RTS's nowadays; the base back home that's busy churning out troops like some kind of production line. It really limits the kind of tactics you use in a battle.

Two sides with an infinite supply of troops is a far different skirmish than two sides with 150 guys each. If the Halo RTS follows the "build your base and then churn out troops" I'll most likely be tossing it in the "lametastic" pile, along with all the other starcraft/warcraft clones.
