Meh.

I enjoyed the weapon spawn timer system, but that just may be me not liking that whoever gets a gun at the start can sit around sniping then get assassinated and the enemy team has it indefinitely.
Verdict: Timer is superior, but I'm probably biased.

Vehicles: I absolutely loved the old vehicle phsyics. They were absolutely amazingly fun.

But the H2 vehicle phsyics have their upsides. Boarding, the covvie boost.. erm...
I have to say the H2 vehicles are far more difficult to destroy from medium/long range unless you have a rocket launcher. And the scorpion/wraith? Forget about it.
But again, you can take them down, I just feel like much more of a whore when I camp and kill with a scorpion in Halo 2 than sitting in the back of Blood Gulch in that little cave shelling the red base from across the map.

Dual weilding: Mabe you guys just suck. Find a good combo, you win. End of discussion.

Overpowered PP: I'm sorry, what? The plasma pistol overheat prevented you from switching weapons in Halo 1? Since when?
I do like the idea of preventing the switch for a moment.
I also, however, would prefer to see the PP regain it's faster-than-plasma-rifle rate of fire from Halo 1. It took a helluva lot of practice to fire it as fast as I fire it, but who cares now, it fires slower than the rocket launcher.

Matchmaking and the host: OK, seriously, who the hell grenade jumps more than once a game? Anyone? Didn't think so.
Dedicated servers would be cool, Bungie-operated or not.
