And MC "killing" Cortana... intriging. perhaps it would be a fitting ending for H3, if not the whole series. Because once the problem(s) on Earth are resolved and the Gravemind is dealt with, will there be anything left? The Covenant would be "scattered, divided, leaderless" and perhaps the Flood would be eradicated or forced back into dormancy w/o the Gravemind. The war would be over. Unless... unless the Forerunner return... Any thoughts?
