The cycle of life- they're part of Halo's environment. I wish i'd used that term. Yes, cycle, indeed. : Immortality that Cortana may be tempted with is to be an independent being : yet have "children" through which she can live her life : immortal. None of the individuals matter because it is a cycle as long as : one lives, the cycle continues. The price is that it dilutes Cortana, : corrupts her. Not her children, but i'd say...reincarnations of herself. She dies and is then reborn. And she is most vulnerable to corruption when she's being born. : Immortality has a price. No doubt. But what exactly is the price-are we estimating it right, or estimating it wrong?
