: A mosnter? Maybe, but a necessary evil. If I recall, the augmentation procedure was not only BRUTAL, but had <50% success rate. More than half the patients suffered from chronic pain, nerve degeneration, paralysis, grand mal siezures, and death. Add to the fact that they were TAKEN, and mostly NOT volunteers, and I'd say this was highly immoral, even if lives are saved as a result of the Spartans Battle prowess. |
