In Response To: Halo 2 Matchmaking: Setting a precedent (nof) Incredibly well said, NoF! I generally get on Live for a couple hours every night. It used to be cool, cuz I would team up with my bro and 2 friends to have a good time on team slayer. Now I find my bro kicking certain people out of our games cuz they are "holding us back." Whatever happened to just playing to have a good time? What ever happened to learning from your opponent, rather than cursing them for being the host? Whatever happened to accepting defeat, and improving our skill, rather than blaming our loss on lag, noob teammates, and "lucky spawns?" I for one am happy to play a good, old fashioned cutsom game. I do enjoy ranking, but not for the rank. I enjoy it because it's adds an extra intensity to the match. I hope I will never fall into the pit of matchmaking dispair as many have done. |
