Frustrating is not the same as challenging. It's one thing to die because you missed a critical shot and the enemy then got the upper hand. It's quite another to die because while you were killing enemies left and right you were shot in the head by a jackal. One of them is clearly your fault and you can do better next time; one of them is clearly the game's fault for not giving you a chance to notice the threat before penalizing you for failing to respond to it. As for Ninja Gaiden, it's a good game and I do like it, but no one can deny that there are some parts of it that are ridiculously unfair and frustrating and keep it from being an uncategorically awesome game. | |
