In Response To: Halo 2 Matchmaking: Setting a precedent (nof) As usual, listen to the words of Wu from the front page... when you've played enough ranked games, you will be at a point where you will generally either be playing people just as good as you, or people better than you who have yet to graduate to the next level. The fact that you're just now getting mad about your ranking means you're getting into your proper level, and you should only be winning ~50% of games now (even a little less, considering a few players are moving up). Learn to accept losses, and to know that you always learn more from a loss than you do a win (except that rare win that came as a result of new tactics that changed the battle drastically, of course). And when, someday, you finally push up to that next level, you'll have fought tooth and nail and fang and claw for every moment of it. And that, when you get there, it's only going to be EVEN HARDER to advance from there. |
