Not lounging : around raising kids or whatever. It certainyl does seem odd. perhaps tehre is an alternate program that allows Spartans to retire? Perhaps she was injured and needed to pull out, or maybe she got a little frisky while on leave and ended up pregnannt, and had to withdraw from service? There's a lot of possibilities here.
