In Response To: I'm getting worried *Small HGN Spoilers* (Cody Miller) Firstly, I want to say that, from my understanding, Halo 2 had a cliffhanger ending simply due to time restraints. On the "Making Of" in teh LE DVD, Joe Staten says that they had a full game: picked up right where Halo left off, you went through the ruins the Halo, back out into space, and returned to Earth for this grand conclusion. But then they realized that they just didnt have a fun game. So "Pandora's box was opened and ideas that were originally set in stone" were scrapped. Supposedly I think taht was like halfway between the time They started working on it in 2002 and when it was released in 2004. So they really only had maybe a little over a year to ship out the game. Due to time restraints, that's probably why they had to break it up for Halo 3. They knew that if they had ended the story arc in rushed conditions, it wouldn't be the game the fasn were all craving. | |
