In Response To: Re: I'm curious... (Peptuck)
: Translation: there's a million things in the Halo Graphic Novel that Bungie's
: put there for us. Its just that no one is looking closely enough at it.
: Heaven forbid the clues and secrets aren't waved in front of the fans' faces
: in big glowing letters for everyone to read, and you have to look into the
: plotline and story.
: For example, in Breaking Quarantine: look closely at what the Flood do when
: Johnson is crossing the light bridge. Hey, that's odd...Flood don't
: NORMALLY do that, do they?
: In paging through the HGN, and looking closely, I'm seeing literally dozens
: of tidbits and little items of interest that make a reader want to go
: "Wait, huh? DUDE. DID YOU SEE THAT?" Dig past the external
: story, and there's a wealth of data for us to analyze.
The main things that caught me as weird:
-In "Last Voyage", some of the Grunts look like they're carrying Human Assault Rifles.
-Plasma Grenades are depicted as bouncy, against everything we know from the games.
-The retired Spartan directly contradicts the tally of Spartans given in Fall of Reach - at that time, the Chief and those on Reach are still alive, 3 are too seriously injured to continue combat duty, and the rest are dead. Where does this one come in?
-The odd purple dress of the Supreme Commander (who I am guessing we are to consider to be the Elite that later becomes the Arbiter).
-Flood speaking to the SpecOps Commander.
