I read Breaking Quarantine twice, and it was worse the second time around. It features incredible artwork, but it lacked story (not story in the sense of a novel, but story in the sense of something which freytag's pyramid can be applied to).

I agree with you here, and the first two novels did provide all the story I wanted/expected, but the second two didn't.

Shouldn't that be the UNSCDF? Though I suppose that's probably what was meant by 'reserves'
