I think saying they survived Halo doesn't mean they had to have stayed on Halo. Remember that Pelicans could have taken survivors off of Halo and been enroute somewhere at the time of the POA's destruction, leaving them stranded with no place to land. : Am I the only person in the world who doesn't like Cortana? Probably not... sometimes I don't like her, but then I just reboot my XBOX and then she goes back to normal, teach her to think out of the box. ;P
