In Response To: Prepare for Cortana spec - *spoilers* (Jillybean) I know this is extreamly far fetched....*Maybe* Reach didn't fall... or maybe there were other unsc survivors from the battle who fallowed the pillar of Autom. Although maybe the "other unsc ship" was more badly damaged than the POA and that caused it to arive at the cene of halo much later/ after instilation 004 was destroyed. After all, didn't it take the "Hurcales" months to return from harvest because it was so badly damaged? so ... shortly after halo's destruction, this "other ship arrives" and meets MC's Longsword.... then the covenant apear in search of why they had lost all contact with their beloved halo.... from there, I supose all hell breaks lose and the "survivors" procede to race back to earth... | |
