In Response To: Why recycle environments for multiplayer? (jazo) In terms of each maps having mysteries, I prefer when they are like a subset to the story or something that expands the universe. I actually really enjoyed the idea of Chiron, as it was supposed to be a training facility (wasn't it mentioned in the books). While I didn't care much for the actual geometry, I loved that it expanded on the universe with "facts" over "this is a forerunner installation" or "Random Earth city". One of the main reasons I loved Coagulation was that it actually created a story of how Blood Gulch was being excavated. So while I do prefer fun maps to play on, whether it comes from single player or multiplayer, maps that have a presence in the universe is always welcomed.
