In Response To: Re: Too early for an opinion on 343i (Louis Wu) : That promise isn't broken - there are still untouched matchmaking playlists. At what point does it remain upheld? 5 vanilla lists left? 2? 1? The assumption is that all of 343's new playlists and gametypes would have the settings. That's fine. Whatever, they can't wait for Halo 4 to show off their game making prowess, do things to Reach! Those playlists didn't exist before. The other assumption is that all the pre-existing playlists would be left alone, with maybe Zero Bloom showing up as an optional variant in applicable cases, a new gametype. They're ignoring the negative feedback over the broken feedback system under bleedthrough, and now have decided to push bleedthrough up into normal lists where it makes no sense. Multi Team is heavily AR start, why is 85% bloom and bleedthrough being put in there? At least there was a bit of predictability before: Anniversary was 85%, Competitive was vanilla reach. There's zero explanation for a player going down the list that in this playlist, you can be killed through your shields while the next playlist down is not. I imagine the next update of note is going to start pushing TU settings on even more lists. And I'll be asking the question I started this post with again. I wish I could return these love letters to the sender..
