In Response To: Re: It's a death by a thousand cuts (Avateur) : It was just another point that not everything 343 Industries does is great. : It was an example of how hard they attempted to defend something that : sucked even though it sucked. In other words, it's an example of something : worth vigorously attacking so that they think a bit harder next time : before attempting to bestow more garbage upon us, for again, I would : really hate for Halo 4 or the Halo franchise to become dilluted nonsense. : If it helps, focus on the ODST debacle created by Microsoft instead of the : Apt. 117 name-drop. It didn't suck. You didn't like it. Those are different. It wasn't garbage, and they didn't spend a huge amount of resources they could have been spending elsewhere to bring it to you. It was fun, and had it come from, say, Newgrounds, it would have been praised. And the debacle, as you call it, had plenty of blame to go around - it wasn't purely MS's fault. Since neither party is actually willing to speak publicly about this, though, I guess you're welcome to continue making wild assumptions. I'm a Bungie fan - but my eyes are open enough to realize that they make mistakes, too - not everything that doesn't work out can be blamed on others.
