In Response To: Re: It's a death by a thousand cuts (rhubarb) : They obviously don't because errors are still being made. Frankie posted long : ago on this board, in a thread about the Halo Encyclodedia, that errors : were inevitable, as if there was no way to avoid them. It didn't seem to : be a concern then and it doesn't look like it is now. Of course errors are going to be made. I highly doubt he was saying that they can't stop errors from happening; he was saying that they can't stop ALL errors from happening. Sometimes people make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes aren't caught. When I said ancillary material had "generally been good quality," I meant that Halo products are usually good. I'm happy paying for them. Occasionally there's a bad product, or something that I don't like but others do. I've stuck with the series because Halo products are usually quality products. I just don't think that there's as strong of a link between the extra material like books and videos and the quality of the games as you seem to. I haven't seen anything that makes me seriously worried about Halo 4; the focus has always been on the games, and the games have always been great.
