Well, I don't have it in front of me (I'm at work), but when the door opens and the Elite is standing there facing the Chief the text says something like, this was one of the Elite fighting warriors of the Covenant or something to that effect. It makes it sound like it was just another encounter, not the first one with that species The reference to Halsey is gone. I can get the actual passage when I'm home tonight. There are still things even in that edition that don't jive or are still errors, but it's a little better. I will have to do a thorough taking notes readthrough of it again. Maybe that will eliminate some of the red text in my Halo doc. Just reached 626 pages last night. :)
