Honestly, my sole experience with MLG is hearing their whining, bitching, and moaning about how Halo Reach didn't play like Halo 2. Halo Reach was fun to play; I care not about how competitive it is. For me, Halo:CE was fun because all of the weapons were useful. Halo 2 was less fun because of the sheer nerfing those weapons received. Come Halo Reach, and the pistol is worth carrying again, the SMG is gone, the AR packs more punch, armor abilities are what the Halo 3 equipment wish they could be, and dual wielding has been dragged out back and shot. If Halo 2 is 'competitive gameplay', and Reach is not, then MLG can sod off.
