Your motives? Your integrity? I know exactly nothing about either. Nor do I know anything about whether or not you would deserve my second-guessing them. All I'm trying to do is take the effort to respond to the posts that you took the effort to post. Symbiosis, as you said.

Actually, it did serve some purpose for rex (the OTHER rex). It was making a point of his. For you, it was more or less filler. That's what I meant by serving little purpose.

Very good. Nobody got it, because you never said so. For all intents and purposes, your post reads like trying to convince Bungie you deserve reparations for their game, and listing some nonsense suggestions. If you are indeed just doing this for the exercise or to get our thoughts jogging, well, that's fine, but it's a tad intellectual to merely pop up with and assume we'll get that.

Sure. But doing favors for fans is an entirely different thing. Have you seen, say, Blizzard holding parties for its fans or responding lyrically to complaints on their message boards?

That was more flippancy than anything, but you're missing my point. First, accusing you of misrepresenting yourself has very little to do with... well, anything else in that paragraph. I still think it's true. Second, most of the folks here are used to foreigners, children, monks of the Church for the Abolishment of Proofreading, and other schools of thought. I'd be willing to wager a small pig that most people just see you, see somebody who went to school, get lost in your line of thought, and wander off with a "oh, your riight! dude" for lack of anything else.

That was crude, but it's the basic idea. You get it?
