You'll pardon me if I'm also misinterpreting your post, but the message I got was that loyal Bungie fans deserve more. Which is a noble thing to say, of course. But the other message was that Bungie has done its fans a horrible wrong, and that there must be reparations paid, which is what I take issue with. I reiterate: most people are enjoying Halo. Most people on this forum are enjoying Halo, in fact. And when you consider that history has shown angry and disappointed people to be far more vocal than pleased and satisfied people, that's kind of impressive. It is unfortunate that you are not happy with Halo. Your game related concerns have been heard. But your opinion does not appear to be that of Bungie's fan base. I've seen people who detest Microsoft borrow or rent an XBox, and have a good time playing Halo. Considerably more, in fact, than I've seen people bitterly disappointed with Halo. Now, with that said, I offer my point: you anger and misrepresent people who consider themselves Bungie and/or Halo fans when you put words in their mouths by passing your own opinion as that of many people. It is one thing to write a bad review of Halo (which, by all means, can be a good thing), but it is another to suggest that "because I am unhappy, everyone is/should be unhappy." You may not intend to convey that point, but the tone of your posts does so regardless. Your literacy makes your posts easier to take seriously than those of, say, Thorn, but even the calmest, most measured stance does not make an untruth true. I commend you for taking the high road, but given the way people will interpret your message, you shouldn't expect anything less than hostility and a just refusal to agree with it. Cheers,
