That's all well and good, but what are we supposed to do with an interpretation that's very different from the intentions? You can read anything into anything so I don't think they'd help in understanding anything but the person making the interpretations-- which is self-examination, it's self-exploration, that's good, but that doesn't mean you have to tell the world, and it certainly doesn't mean you have to say your interpretation shows some great meaningful truth about society.
