You actually do battle with the Reach : Invasion Fleet (RIF henceforth) in space, nevermind the troop through one : of its numbers' guts to blow it up, watching dozens show up in system as : menacing harbingers of Reach's doom, or the destruction of frigates and : emergency colonist evacuation ships from Corvettes above. The RIF was : quite literally Reach's foil. : The only interaction you had with Regret's fleet was through cutscenes. I think if there were some more Cruisers/Carriers/Corvettes visible off in the distance in space it might have helped. Space felt fairly empty. But yeah, if any level does this well, its New Alexandria. Ships slipping in and glassing shit felt pretty overwhelming.
