In Response To: Of Breaking Benjamin *OT* (tLove)
: I really don't know why I'm writing this because it really doesn't pertain to
: Halo that much.
: Hoobastank and Incubas - Both of these bands I heard about from downloading
: Halo Fan movies. The one was of vehicle launching (when those movies were
: still big) on Blood Gulch. I remember distinctly the song
: "Pieces" from Hoobastank playing and realizing that I must have
: that albumn. However, none of the other songs on that CD were quite like
: that one. And as "The Reason" albumn... yeah.... wtf happened to
: your hardcore song like Pieces!! Yeah, and from Lethal Rage 3, Incubus's
: "Megalomaniac" song was amazing... which lead me to them, and I
: still like their music.
: And Breaking Benjamin, wow. I love them. Ever since the beginning when a
: friend of mine was blaring this music in his car and I was just thinking
: again "I must have this albumn." So their first albumn was
: amazing, dito to the latter, "We Are Not Alone." I recently
: attended their concert at the Camilion Club in Lancaster, PA. It was one
: of the most amazing experiances of my life, no, really, it was that
: emotional to me, and emotional doesn't have to mean love... it can mean a
: hardcore passion for the music. Yeah, so I am very happy that Breakin Ben
: was/is inspired by Halo music. However, would I want their music in the
: game playing? No, not really, cause the Halo music/score has its own style
: that is very seperate from those bands listed.
: I'm not going to tred long on this subject, but most of the bands I follow
: today came from watching Halo videos, which is why Halo itsself is more of
: a hobby then just another game. Treble Charger, 30 Seconds to Mars,
: Offspring, Sum 41, Thrice, and AFI just to name a few.
: tLove
I don't really mind the bands, i mean, i dont dislike their music, but since musical style is so opinionated, it's hard to please everyone. I'll pretty much listen and enjoy any type of rock, but, I'm more of a classical rocker myself.
