In Response To: Re: Dear God... (Count Zero) : Maybe their fans. Anyone consider the possibility of a multiplayer soundtrack? I know, I know, I don't particularly care for the idea either, but hey, it IS possible. I suspect something more along the lines of ingame contextual music, ie, sarge's "old music", or mb what would be playing on the radio of a civilian hog(if one were to exist in the game.) There could also be stores in New Mombasa that have music on their PA...you never know. But I seriously would have issues if say, the music on this soundtrack were used for the title screen, or for menu music while you wait in a multiplayer game lobby on xbl, or for a loading screen. I think it would mess with the overall atmosphere of Halo. This isn't Quake or UT, there's more substance here that would, imo, be mucked up and muddied by corporate music. ~M |
