Good idea, and... | |

In Response To: Oooh... think about it! (Ross Mills [subnova]) "Music from an inspired by" is sometimes called "soundtrack" by the music industry. Then, they release the original score which is really the music from the game. I first learned about this because I was desperate to have the Blade soundtrack back in the day, and the one that was in 90% of stores was "inspired by", the actual score was much harder to find. Also, a ton of modern music WILL be used... on the Limited Edition DVD... which technically does make it part of Halo. Part of the licensing agreement with those bands to use their music on the limited DVD could have been that they have to have a compilation CD sold for royalties... (as in, they get no direct royalties from the limited disc, so there's an album) But, we already know Johnson loves his old music. *bad speculation*
Point: There's PLENTY of room for plausible explanation here- we don't need conspiracy theories just yet. |
